Erica Cerra, born October 31st 1979 in Vancouver British Columbia is an Canadian Actress best famous for playing Deputy Jo Lupo in the Syfy series Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian origin. The actress was attracted to acting at the age of eight years old and was featured in many commercials when she was a kid. Her acting career was interrupted during a period of time. In 2001, however, she came back to the industry at the age of 22. The actress was listed as one of the five most popular actresses in Vancouver in Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra appeared as deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy TV show Eureka that aired between 2006 and 2012. The music video for The Michael Buble track Save the Last Dance for Me was also released in 2006. Cerra has been featured in several television shows that are popular, including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word as well as many more. Cerra has appeared in several significant film projects, like Man About Town starring Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity starring Wesley Snipes. Her body and facial features was used as a model for Ashley Williams, a character in The Mass Effect video game franchise. Khondabi mentioned that she married Joey Scribner Howard, her love from high school, who has a degree in mechanical engineering working in the energy sector. Khondabi stated that she along with Joey were the best of friends during their time at Greenwood Christian School for years prior to dating during their senior year in high school. Howard completed his studies at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo However, Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. They then started dating. Khondabi has graduated from Emerald High School in 2007 and the University of South Carolina in 2011 with a broadcast journalism degree. She has a minor in Sports and Entertainment Management. Joey is also a USC graduated. Liam is their pet. Khondabi told us that Joey as well as her are foodies. Her favorite food of her home town is onion rings that are served at Dixie Drive-In. Im a curious person Khondabi stated. In elementary school, I used to do educational interviews for our newscast in the school. And I would also anchor the headlines for each day. Oakland Elementary had a news program known as WOAK. After graduation, Khondabi said her first big job as a news reporter was with WAGT in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi wrote, "I was a news reporter for about six years." In the months following Augusta my first position was as a morning reporter for WOWK Charleston West Virginia. The next place I went to was Columbus Ohio to work as a traffic reporter and host of the morning news.
